How to: Create new folder (directory) from either Explorer or My Computer.
Solution:
Select the 'File' menu, select 'New', and select 'Folder'.
1) Do one of the following to open either Windows Explorer or 'My Computer':
2) Double-click the drive or folder where you want to add the new folder. (The drive or folder opens.)
3) If you want to add the new folder to a subfolder, repeat step 2) until the desired folder is open.
4) Select the 'File' menu and select 'New'. (A submenu appears.)
5) Select 'Folder' from the 'New' submenu. (A new folder appears with the name 'New Folder'.)
6) Type a new name for the folder. (The current name is replaced as you type.)
7) Press ENTER to accept the new name.
